This Privacy Policy explains how JustStream collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our platform. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting it.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
JustStream processes payments through ZynlePay. When you make a payment, your Mobile Money number is sent to ZynlePay to initiate the transaction. JustStream does not store your full payment credentials. We only store the payment reference number and status (pending, success, or failed) for our records.
ZynlePay's handling of your payment data is governed by their own privacy policy.
We track how long you watch each video. This data is used to:
Producers can see that their content was watched and for how long, but they cannot see your name or personal identity — only your email address.
When you post a comment or rating on JustStream, your email address is displayed alongside your comment. Be mindful of what you share. You can delete your own comments at any time by clicking the delete option on your comment.
Your data is stored securely on MongoDB Atlas cloud servers. Videos and thumbnails are stored on Backblaze B2 cloud storage. All video streams are delivered via signed URLs that expire after 2 hours — this means videos cannot be shared or downloaded.
We use industry-standard security measures including password hashing (bcrypt), secure sessions, and HTTPS encryption. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us through the Feedback page and we will process your request within 14 days.
Payment records are retained for a minimum of 5 years as required for financial record-keeping under Zambian law.
JustStream uses session cookies to keep you logged in. These are essential for the platform to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
JustStream is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
If you choose to sign in with Google, we only request your email address and Google account ID. We use this to create and identify your account. Google's use of your data when you sign in is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
